Walking along the often dried Cesse river bed

Today was 29 degrees and quite hot. So of course we had to explore of the ‘plus beaux villages de France’ Minerve.  Somehow we managed to find ourselves walking along the Cesse river bed. This was at least 17,000 steps  but the insects were amazing. Luckily, we found some shade at times and the odd breeze which led us back into Minerve in time for a well earned cold drink.
