Ready for use

I have got two big bunches of shallots and two big bunches of onions hanging in the garage. Additionally I have quite a number of onions that started to bolt, when this happens they do not keep as well so they will be cut up and frozen. This is a job for the future.
Gripe of the day
I don't take part in any sport . I don't watch much but I do enjoy rugby and cycling, when they are on I become totally absorbed in the action.
Tomorrow is the last day of the Tour de France. Next year it will be shown exclusively on Sky. Today was the second Australia v British Lions rugby test  It has been described as a stunning game. Unfortunately I could not watch it because it's only shown on Sky. 
So the only way I will be able to see these in future is to pay large amounts of money to watch them.
This is not right.
