Shopping
I decided to head into town after breakfast to take a look at the shops and visit the lovely Italian deli on Elm row. I also needed to pick up the car from Miss PHL as the parking restrictions kick in again on Monday morning and it’s not cheap!
Mr PHL walked Phin and then drive in to meet me at Miss PHLs flat bringing with him some suitcases and bags as she’s moving into a new flat at the start of August.
I enjoyed a mooch around the shops, a bite of lunch and a lovely time in the deli coming away with sausages galore and some cheese before a quick look in a couple of charity shops before I headed to Miss PHLs flat.
There was some traffic issue and Mr PHL took twice as long as normal to reach the flat with the suitcases but it wasn’t too busy on the return leg and we both arrived home at the sane time despite taking different routes.
Phin and I enjoyed a mid walk treat of wild raspberries on our walk down the railway path. He’s getting pretty good at stripping off the low level fruit.
Used some of the delicious sausages to make a pasta bake for dinner. There’s enough leftover for tomorrow night too. Result!
My blip is my wedding dress which I finally unearthed from the lift. I’ve tried it on and although I couldn’t get it to fasten fully I don’t feel the need I once felt to try and wear it again so I’m working out where to donate it. Any suggestions?
