Arable Weeds
My friend T and I did the Bayfield Bird walk this morning after a quick trip into town for provisions. We were keen to get round before the forecast rain arrived, which we did. We saw the pigs, froglets, a toad, a dung beetle rolling some leaf litter, two swans and four cygnets, some cows and heard a sparrowhawk repeatedly calling out. We stopped at Natural Surroundings for tea and cake and very nice it was too, plus I showed T the harvest mice. I nipped into the gardens to take some photos of the 'arable weeds' beds, which I've posted. We also had a good look round the Craft Barn and the art gallery and purchases were made. This afternoon the rain came down and we've now watched three horror films! I'd ordered two pizzas from Eric's in town which we collected and were delicious.
