Braemar

A trouble free journey after yesterday. Stopped off for lunch in Braemar. We enjoyed a wander round and ended up at the Braemar Highland Games Arena. In the extras are the river in Braemar and the games visitor centre and cafe.

We then called in to a very busy event centre to collect our numbers for the event tomorrow. Then onwards to our accommodation near Birsemore Lake. The top right extra shows the lake and boathouse as we stretched our legs. Our cottage is characterful and homely surrounded by beautiful countryside. 

A quiet evening before our exertions tomorrow.
