Amaryllis

This is one of two amaryllis bulbs that are currently flowering in the back porch. They were bought two years ago and I had put them in the dark cellar after the last flowering but noticed a few weeks ago that they had shoots. Repotted and watered and they quickly bloomed. I like this one but the other is a quite garish orange colour. 
I’ve been working at the Museum today so nothing much to report. You may spot the raindrops all over the window behind the amaryllis, there have been a few heavy downpours since I got home.
