The Road to the Moor
A photo of the road to the moor reflected in the rear-view wing mirror of our car. This road was busy today with visitors out for a drive, and maybe stopping for an ice cream or for the ponies and sheep who wander freely here. The ponies have learnt that there may be food where cars are parked and will often at this time of year take up residence in car parking areas. On our short walk we watched from a tor a herd of ponies completely block the road below. Long queues built up in both directions but they stubbornly refused to move. This stalemate continued for at least 15 minutes but no-one got out of their car to move them along. By luck, rather than design there were no cars in sight when I took my blipfoto giving it an empty and peaceful ambience.
