Aren't these seedheads wonderful?  I found this (and many others) on my walk this morning, which wasn't on the butterfly reserve because the weather was a bit iffy - and did infact produce rain not long after I got this shot.  The gardening wasn't done either, but J very kindly collected 6 large bags of compost and a watering can from a local garden centre, so that's a job for me in the next few days.

The local news is that travellers came back to park their vans on the Green again a couple of days ago.  However, they left fairly swiftly, which must be good because it was clearly going to cause upset with some of the locals.
