The sound of Harleys

SATURDAY

This afternoon brought something a bit different to the sleepy village Saturday — the rumble of Harley-Davidsons rolling in.

Dozens of riders from the Mancunium Chapter, the official Harley Owners Group of Manchester, pulled up at the Salusbury Arms  as part of a fundraising ride in support of Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices.

The Mancunium Chapter is the largest Harley-Davidson club in the Northwest, and one of the most active in the UK. Their presence was hard to miss.

Trevor, one of our neighbours, was among them — he's riding the Harley on the far left in the photo.
