Abercrombie House Bathurst

Maddy has casual work at Abercrombie helping the owner with functions. Today they had a bus load visiting from Canberra to enjoy Christmas in July. Maddy is friends with the owner’s daughter and she does waitressing. They also work together in the restaurant where her friend is the manager. Abercrombie is full of history and the owners have been working on the place ever since we have lived here. They collect all sorts of things (see extras). We drove Mad out and also picked her up and drove home the scenic route. There was some great old buildings waiting to be blipped as well as sheep, cattle and pigs. 

I like doing jobs that don’t need doing again next week. So I cleaned the laundry cupboard where I keep vases and our medications - strange combination but that’s how it happened. I have all the out of date ones to return to the pharmacy and reorganised everything else. The oldest item is the Fahrenheit mercury thermometer (we changed to Celsius in the 1960s).
