Wild carrot seedhead
Viewed from above this image shows the seeds and supporting stems of a wild carrot flower after pollination. The florets of the flower form a flat white platform and often have a single red floret at their centre. Once plollinated they begin to fold in on themselves to form a tight ball of seeds.
