In the garden yesterday
As is often the case I’m writing this on the following morning, though I took the photos yesterday. As is often the case my ability to write is better in the morning, though I’m not too sure if that’s the case today as I’m suffering with a grumbling gut. Hopefully it will be better after my first booster dose of medication - about half an hour away.
Yesterday afternoon walk round the garden resulted in me recording these species for the Big Butterfly Count. I’d added Large White earlier - at least I think they were. Here we have a Red Admiral, Comma and there were at least 4 Gatekeepers. The bees an extra. It’s male but I’m not sure whether it’s buff or white-tailed.
I did my usual walk down the road to try and shake off my feeling of heavy legs and the ache in my gut. Not sure it was entirely successful and at some point I succumbed to paracetamol. I’d been awake since just after 3am so probably unsurprising that I was tired. I’m not sure why this is still happening for me. (Better time this morning at just after 5am).
