Yellow on White

Flowers at the Great Lakes National Cemetery were hard to come by today. The workers must have cleaned them out recently.

Our near 100 temperature of yesterday backed off a little today. I took a walk at 2 p.m. and the temp was 82F, but it was still humid. I could have kicked myself for not going out at 7 a.m.

A big date night for Lisa and me tonight. 2 for $6 filet-o-fish at McDonalds, and then a food shopping trip at Aldi's. WOO-HOO!

The highlight of any trip to Aldi's is giving away the 25-cent shopping cart. Tonight, no one was there to take it, so we just leave the cart in the area with the other carts.

Sometimes, the little things are the best.
