Life is a Challenge!

FLOWER FRIDAY

Despite the very hot weather and a hosepipe ban, Mr. HCB has been watering our pots in the garden faithfully and the reward is that we see these beautiful flowers.

In this shot, there is a Trachelospermum on the fence, a Perovskia or Russian Sage in front of that with a pink Hydrangea on the left.  Then there are lots of Geraniums, some of which are only just beginning to bloom, with a couple of Fuchsias we are hoping will bloom soon.

However, the centrepiece, which is Mr. HCB’s pride and joy is the beautiful Agapanthus flower, which has just started to bloom - in fact, there are three flower stalks on this particular one, so plenty to choose from on Flower Friday.

Mr. HCB decided not to go to cricket today as the weather is due to be very hot and there is virtually no shade at the ground.  However, I am very grateful for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts.

Apologies for not commenting last night - we were both very tired after our day out, but I will try and sprinkle some stars and hearts today, although we have several visitors coming during the day, so comments may be a bit sparse!

Hope you all have a great weekend.  M xx

P.S.  My extra shows the shoes worn by my friend who visited for coffee this morning.  I have to say I think my days of wearing "fluffy shoes" are long gone, but they did add some fun to my day!
