It seems that all institutions need a catchy acronym. Here in Darwin,  MAGNT stands for the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. When we visited today, the main display was this year’s hanging of art works accepted for the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards for 2025 (which doesn’t make a great acronym).
