St Mary’s Windiws

A quieter day today. We’ve decided not to go to any concerts today and to give me two clear days to rest in preparation for London, or that’s the plan at least……

In reality, we end up going to a short violin recital performed by the leader of the BBC Philharmonic accompanied by a local legend, the pianist Christina Mason-Scheuermann. Once again it’s excellent and G is just in awe of the violinist’s skills.

Another day of sunny intervals - we’re even able to eat our meal outside in the garden in the evening, and it looks as if this period of unsettled weather may be coming g to an end.

My blip today is a merged triptych of stained glass windows in St Mary’s church - always much more appealing if the sun is shining!
