Return to Bortons Pond
It is Friday, so the morning was dedicated to writing the Weekly Witter in the cosiness of the study. Having been sedentary for all that time I decided that Bean and I both needed a proper long walk.
So I ditched all the gardening plans for the day, and off we went to Bortons Pond, after a fortifying bowl of soup.
It was glorious there as usual. We met two people also walking, and three cars which drove the circuit and then left, never disgorging the humans within. It seems crazy to me...
We walked not the usual double circuit, but a triple one because we both seemed to have good legs after two, and there was plenty of time.
Bean hurtled her legs off and is sleeping soundly now, even though it's almost her supper time. (Normally she's giving me the starving eye by now.)
The sun was shining through thin high clouds and I took heaps of photos, finally choosing - with some difficulty - this dog's view for the main, and two arty-farty landscapes in extras.
