Warped

A hot day in our fair capital city, and I again spent the day in the Woking office. I was roped into drinks after work and the trains returning from Woking were in disarray due to that classic British summer phenomenon of the tracks warping due to the heat. The country is not equipped at all for climate change. I arrived back in London some hours later than planned, which I will blame on warped tracks but it was mostly due to impromptu drinks.
