Round Headed Rampion with visitor
This morning we went on the RSPB's annual walk around the old hill fort on Old Winchester Hill. It is managed as a nature reserve, and we saw plenty of butterflies including a Wall Brown. There are lots of nationally rare Round Headed Rampions in flower on the ramparts in July ; this one had a Six Spot Burnet moth feeding on it.
This evening we had Uke Jam, so a busy day for a retired couple!
