I am reciting a poem by Paula Meehan called ‘Seed’ (Paula is hard hitting) and on the second round I am reading the opening 3 paragraphs of Strumpet City by James Plunkett. The actual book I have was inscribed by James Plunkett to my father-in-law in 1969 the year of its publication.
