Cherry Ripe

Birstall Market. Overlooked by the statue of Joseph Priestley. 
After our usual visit to the fish van, we had a browse round the fruit and veg. stall. 
Today we came away with a bag full of Kent cherries. The best we have tasted since buying them in France.
Apparently the UK is having the biggest and best yield for at least 3 years.All due to the weather. 
The ones we bought were large and soooo juicy. 
Don't think there will be many left tomorrow. 

I wonder if anyone remembers the song.
