♫Just a spoon full of sugar . . .♪ ♪

Biskit’s medicine was all divided up and ready first thing this morning, and after reports from his mum that he took them last night with food I  was not expecting a problem.
 
Not so this morning, so come midday I thought “Why not try a (small) sprinkling of sugar?”  I missed the tiny bit that is left . . .  Heaven knows what his mum will think.
 
First thing when I was dividing up the tablets he took great notice of them, so I thought "No problem".  Wrong.  The antibiotics are flavoured, but not so the painkillers which are paracetamol and codeine, ie very expensive Distalgesic.  As both codeine and paracetamol are both very bitter, I’m guessing that’s where the problem lies.  Different tactics tonight.
 
The hound himself is recovering well, no signs at all today so far.  Don’t let’s tempt providence.
