Deer in oats

I was walking home from the machine shed, when I noticed a roe buck in the field just 20 metres from me. I went in, changed the long lens to the camera, and to my surprise, the deer was still there. I got a few shots from different angles before he thought that me kneeling for a lower angle was too much and he disappeared into the field, with the antlers and the ears jumping up here and there.

It was another hot day with +28°C or more, I didn't look at thermometer very often. Not as humid as Tuesday and some wind, but obviously it felt hot. I started the day by returning the wrong belt, ordering another, hopefully right one, and buying some other supplies. I fetched a couple of bales home with the bale fork mounted on the small tractor, the best of too few options at the moment, and brought a part of Saturday's bales to a line by the road. The baler finally came in the evening to bale the rest.
