Lee Friedlander

I've a bit of a weak spot for a good photography book: One of my favourite photographers is Lee Friedlander, and having enjoyed his book 'Pick Up', a YouTube channel I follow recommended 'America by Car' (2010 publication) and I managed to get a brand new signed limited edition (see extra) copy.

It's a very large book with the square format photo's being 13"x13" each, all in black and white, shot from inside his car used as a frame. So much to look at in each frame. Very clever! 

I popped into nearby Monmouth for some shopping and as I parked my car I spotted a photo' opportunity in the Lee Friedlander style! Not too shabby for a first go!
