Summer Rain

Well, we've had plenty of rain today.  I do feel sorry for visitors who've just started their summer holidays here, but I'm very happy for the garden that we've had significant rainfall again. This is the rainy view out of the bedroom window this morning.

I'm particularly pleased that I managed to get the lawn cut and a line of washing dry yesterday.  I'm also pleased, that on a such a soggy day it was the perfect excuse to get some rather late spring cleaning done.

So, for once, all my jobs are up to date...I'm easily pleased!
