the gov has been an absolute star these last couple of days, yesterday afternoon she undercoated 10 of these opening lights and and a bay of 3 window frames, this morning she topcoated the opening lights. The odd coloured one is the first of the remaining 6 that need undercoating.
They are now all spread out before me drying nicely (as the Englishman said to the 12 Welsh Freedom Fighters who'd just painted Cymraeg in green paint down the side of his car).
During all this industry I've been moping about followed by a trail of soggy Kleenex generally feeling grot.
I have done some painting but today it has rained from early light to early evening.
Tomorrow will be better and I can make a more significant contribution.
I did make the point that the gov is so good painting a straight line that she can do the waterline on the boat next spring........not well received.
