Another day, another river

This is the River Deveron where Nick is fishing for two days but on two different beats. This is a very peaceful place to pass the day, apart from regular bellowing from cows which have recently been separated from their calves. Bertie and I had some lovely walks along the river bank while Nick threw his fly and line into the water from time to time. No salmon were caught but three brown trout took the hook and were fortunate to be returned to the river to enjoy life for a bit longer.
