Myrtle

Myrtle loves sitting on the woodshed roof in front of a Manuka tree. From there she can keep watch on any activity in the property. The Manuka tree is growing over the fence in a neighbours garden. They have two “Urban Bee Hives”. The Manuka flowers profusely and the bees love it. The bees also collect pollen from my Teucrium hedge when it is in flower. I am given a jar of lovely, flavorful honey from time to time. I saw Ruby snapping at a bee this afternoon. She will only do that once if she is stung. .
