Winter

After far too much rain in June and earlier this month we have had almost a week of heavy frosts followed by sunny days and the clean up after two devastating floods is progressing.
My deer farmer neighbour hasn't started feeding out baleage to his deer yet and they  look with envy at my ewes enjoying sheep nuts every morning.
Extra:  The bridge over the creek is beyond repair and won't be replaced. Vehicles will be able to drive across most of the time and there will be a plank for sheep traffic - sheep don't like getting their feet wet. If rain is forecast the plank will be dragged to higher ground.
