Red Squirrel ( Sciurus vulgaris )

Again!  I am afraid that we are so pleased to have them back after a long absence that they will feature in blip a lot.

When I drew the curtains this morning there was this little chap.  Sitting on the bird table munching away at the sunflower seeds.  Checking the feeding ring he/she had dealt with a couple of hazelnuts first.

I grabbed the Pentax rather than start changing the lens on the Cannon.  I took a few shots through the window. "in case" by which time clickychick had opened the door a little.  So change of view point.  This shot is from the doorway.

In the afternoon we had a coffee and cake garden centre visit with Kanyl but despite the fact I took shots of flowers the squirrel had to win.
