Butterfly

Catching up with my friend last night really lifted my spirit. It was lovely to see her.

Today has been a quiet day. I met up with some friends for lunch which was great and I've spent the afternoon seeking employment via the internet and snoozing.

This is a bit of en emergency butterfly (if you can have such a thing!) as I haven't really gone far today and couldn't think of what to blip. I like this shot because you can see it's face and proboscus. I have really begun to appreciate the beauty and intricacy of butterflies this year. They are such beautiful and detailed creatures.

The alternative blip could have been a stuffed monkey which I received when I filled up with petrol.(Yes really). When I went into pay, the man behind the counter just pulled out a stuffed monkey and said, 'This is for you'. I asked why but he didn't respond. I'm not sure what to make of that. Do I look like a lady who needs a stuffed monkey? (It's not even that attractive and I'm not even sure if it qualifies as a monkey). A very odd petrol filling experience......

Tonight I'm going to watch the movie 'Lincoln' as it's supposed to be good.
