A Snorter...

....of a frost this morning, possibly the heaviest of the winter....the ground was as white as snow. Timaru mentioned on the weather news tonight with a  -4.7 frost reading.  Here in our rural area it will be even colder. Fortunately, the sun shone and by mid morning it was fading. 
This afternoon we went driving, just pootling around the country roads having a look at whats going on in the rural areas.
