Down to the river

Recently found out about the River and Rowing Museum at Henley, so as we were looking after the boys today took a trip there.

Lovely location, contains a Wind in the Willows gallery, a rowing gallery, river gallery, Olympic Games section and Henley gallery. 
Lots of information about the river, rowing and Henley.  Interactive in parts - Austin loved trying on the outfits, Caleb loved having a go on the rowing machine and they all had to try the Boaters on in the Henley gallery.  Such a shame that the museum is closing on 21st September 2025. River and Rowing Museum

After picnic lunch, we went for a walk along the river, stopped off at the play park (they had great fun here), then on to get an ice cream.  They then had a go on the swinging chairs (not sure that was the right way to do it…).  Back to the car and a scenic trip home.

Two viewings of our house this afternoon, we are off to look at more tomorrow.
