The other Taylor Swift!

This is Taylor.
Taylor is a young swift.
My son found her on grass outside his flat about teatime and he phoned me to see what he could do. It is very difficult for young swifts to take off from the ground and there was no sign of a nest or other birds.
I suggested he phone New Arc Wildlife Rescue which he did but they couldn’t come to collect her.
My son stays in Aberdeen about forty miles from where I live but he doesn’t have a car. He suggested meeting me halfway if he took a bus and that’s what we did.
I met him and Taylor in Ellon and we took her to the Rescue Centre. They were quite hopeful for her as she was hungry and lively.
Lots in the news etc about the death of Ozzy Osbourne. I’m not really a Black Sabbath fan but I did see them in Aberdeen in 1971 and they were extremely loud!
I don’t think that my hearing has ever recovered!
