Centerpiece

Friend Rose came for lunch. Pushed the boat out abit. Made some smoked haddock pate on melba toasts, ham rolls with mustard and tomato, olives and feta and local strawberries and Raspberries but with cream from Cornwall. 

She didn't leave till 4pm after much chat and hilarity. The rest of the day has been quiet, caught up with some reading, Rose (flower)  pruning and learning about the late Ozzie Osborne's life, his subsequent rise to enormous fame and then his untimely death. My music choice is highly eclectic and along the way I've been very partial to a bit of metal, heavier the better.
