Struggle

I found this juvenile herring gull sitting in a pile of driftwood and some rubbish.  It then moved away from me and maybe I was imagining it, but it seemed to be struggling a bit with lifting itself into the air, certainly it was sitting apart from the main flock.  Maybe it is not well, or do gulls need timeout like humans?
