Well the day started off well.  We all went to Barrow this morning.  Garron and  waited with a coffee in Tesco Extra whilst Hubby went to have a word with Halfords about booking a slot to get a Dashcam fitted.  He got a date, for tomorrow morning at 10.00am.  Sadly the price given last week was on a special offer which is now over, but we still decided to go with it.

We popped into Dunelm to get a couple of things needed and then back to Brooke Supplies for a nice light lunch.

On arriving home we sorted out our new EE Smart Hub for the internt.  My goodness it was sooooo frustrating and got me down quite a bit.  Getting us connected to the Internet was just a bit of a faff but that was OK - I'd forgotten about the TV until much later.  

However, as it turns out the Garron's laptop is an old one and his hard drive just wouldn't accept the new hub - Aaaaarrrggghhh.  I never thought to ask that beause I didn't know it  made a difference.  Anyway after discussions with his amazing computer people in Edinburgh and my phone call to CNL in Kendal it transpires that he should be able to get something called a Dongle to help get over that.  that took a bit of doing  as well because there is such a vast array I didn't even know where to begin.  However Garron's Computer bods advised on that too and so we have one ordered and we're crossing everything that that will arrive this afternoon sometime and will work.

Trying to get the landline linked up too was a faff.  We managed it eventually but if we want any handheld extensions we have to go and some adapters.  On thinking about it we've managed to work something out and hopefully that will work, but wetill need to figure out about answerphones etc.

How come these days, not only do you need degrees in UK Taxes, Bank Admin but also computer technology!!! These were all people's jobs once upon a time and it was much easier and better when someone did it for you and you just got it handed all done!!!!

Anyway, we're as sorted as we can be for now, just shattered, blood pressure high due to anxiety levels going through the roof, but hopefully sorted!!!

Due to all that kerfuffle I didn't get chance to do a Blip so I'm doing that on the 23rd after having a lovely morning out and waiting for the arrival of Garron's Dongle - so hoping he will be Dongling well tomorrow!!!!

Oh the clematis is from someone's garden we went for a walk around the block, I thought it was rather beautiful, hope you like it!!!
