On the way to Wetherlam

Managed three (new) Birketts today on the way to Wetherlam in the South Lakes:

Blake Rigg (Tilberthwaite) 
Haystacks (Tilberthwaite) and 
Birk Fell Man / Birk Fell

Plus Wetherlam itself. Not too long a walk - by our standards, only about 8 miles, but unbelievably humid & breathless, and quite a lot of ups and downs! However, a lot of new paths that we'd not explored in the past.

I did love the early morning haze separating the farm in Tilberthwaite from the tree by the quarry where I was standing for this shot, with Helvellyn in the background.
