Inverleith pond

A dry day with hazy sunshine. At the desk all morning. Afternoon walk to Inverleith. All the swan family were there; I was too slow to catch them closer to us, then they set off under the boardwalk and across the pond. The tufted duck family were there too.

Walked up the hill for tea from the Milk stand; there was a hole under a set of shear legs being filled in opposite the entry to the Council yard. There are at least three trenches at the gate onto Arboretum Place, single lane operations with traffic lights set up. All this for the sewer connection for the new toilets.

Back by the Rocheid path, which was rather muddy.
