On Some Days

Road To Nowhere . . . Ozzie Osborne

Wide Wednesday . . . Long
The radio station that I have on in the car informed me Ozzie Osborne of Black Sabbath had died.  I was driving into Nelson for a physio appointment.  At 9.30 am Nelson is very quiet.  This is the long view of  Trafalgar Street.  This block is lined with eating places that didn't appear to be open yet.  I did manage to get one random man carrying coffee to somewhere.
Thanks Bob for keeping it wide on Wednesdays.

. . .  I was looking back on my life
And all the things I've done to me
I'm still looking for the answers
I'm still searching for the key
The wreckage of my past keeps haunting me
It just won't leave me alone
I still find it all a mystery
Could it be a dream?
The road to nowhere leads to me
Through all the happiness and sorrow
I guess I'd do it all again
Live for today and not tomorrow
It's still the road that never ends . . .

(rather thoughtful lyrics for heavy metal)
