Tuesday

Early start this morning, taking other Mrs.BB to Tameside Hospital for a routine blood test. Before leaving she bought us a chocolate brownie frappe in the foyer's Costa(bit too much) which have got to say was very naughty but nice. The drive home was punctuated with nipping to Hyde for some groceries for F-I-L and dropping them off. He made us a cuppa in return and seemed much better than a few days prior.

Lunchtime saw the packing up and posting of that there maxi-dress to Ms. Arell, whilst the afternoon I visited an antiques emporium in Stockport's Pear Mill with Eldest. We spent almost two hours browsing - she bought a Pokemon themed thimble (not very antique but she wasn't born in the '90s so disagreed!) - your Gal coming away with a companion to my Powerstation vinyl LP, finding a copy of Simon Le Bon & Nick Rhodes' side hustle from the same year (1985) Arcadia - So Red The Rose. Have yet to have a listen but from memory it's a lot less 'rock' than Powerstation. The cafe inside was closed so we walked up through nearby Vernon Park for a coffee there, walking back down over the ornamental bridge and down the steep staircase (blip)

Arriving home, we found the parts had arrived for the front sliding door, so some mother/daughter diying ensued as the rollers were changed, the new track fitted, and everything reassembled as the Haynes Manual might say, in reverse order of disassembly. Finally came the bad news, the passing of Ozzy Osbourne :-( Rest in Peace, Prince of Darkness and thank you for the music x
