Light and shade

Another slow /lazy day today. I am feeling very weary at the minute - probably the result of the cough and poor sleep (and the returning heat isn't helping much!) 
The only thing on my agenda for today was to go out for lunch with my two aunts. This is always 'fun'!!! They drive me bonkers but love 'em to death. At 78 and and 81, got to make the most of the time :-). The older of the two can be a tad 'sharp' at times and 'bossy', while the younger just doesn't listen and gets into trouble because of it :-) She's convinced that if she doesn't say what is in her head it will disappear, which is probably true, but means that she is unstoppable even when wrong! She also has a hearing aid and so everyone in the pub can hear her (also true when she is wrong!) 
Anyway, lunch was a pleasant affair(mainly!!) As aunt the younger insisted on paying I stayed in my seat while they went to the counter. I looked up and saw this interesting light fitment. When I looked at the photo there was also a distinct shadow cast which I also liked. Blip done!!!
