Close encounter

Young Sparrowhawks presumably have to work at getting the superb flying skills of their parents. This one flew in through my open office door, swerved to avoid me, hit the window and landed on my desk. It then flew into the window again and landed on the floor. Two more window crashes before I could get my hands (in oven gloves) on him and help him on his way.

Not sure who was the more surprised.
