On Loan

Our good friend Richard brought this chair for us today.  
Because he has a farm means he has barns and outbuildings - this gives him the opportinity to collect all manner of 'things'......  This is a 1990s  'Louis 20 Armchair' designed by the French designer Philippe Starck.  It was manufactured by Vitra a highly regarded Swiss furniture company......... I have mixed feelings with regard the design, but it is certainly comfortable.
The reason Richard brought it was for Mrs MD to have a comfortable yet 'upright' chair to use during her recovery after her hip replacement.  Bless him :-)
