Puriri Moth

Also know as Ghost moth.  I haven't seen one of these for years.  A friend found this one on the ground looking worse for wear. She put it in a patch of sun and it eventually started to stretch its wings and look a bit more alive.  It may have been affected by the heavy frost we had this morning. 
It’s NZ's largest moth with a wingspan of about 15 cm.
