That Cat.....

In Scotland, a strange black cat's arrival to a home signifies prosperity......yet in Western History, got a black cat, you were a witch.... They're considered lucky in Japan, maybe not if you're a witch....and not if you're heading to a casino, one crosses your path, you shouldn't go.........and a lady with a black cat will have many suitors. So Ladies, if you own a black cat, your neighbours are talking about you!!!

In folklore, black cats could change their shape.....damn handy!........would have helped them cats on the Middle Ages when they were killed due to superstitions leading to an increase in rats and the Black Death.....not so lucky then!!

Depending on the direction of the black cat as it crosses your path depicts the kind of luck you receive.... I agree with Groucho Marx.....'a black cat crossing your path is heading somewhere!'...... Make your own luck !! ;0)
