Ukraine intelligence says that Russia’s top banks are preparing for a wave of loan defaults by the end of 2025. 

Russia’s Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, said that Russia stand on the brink of recession. The Energy Minister said oil companies are having trouble securing essential parts due to sanctions. 

Ukraine attacked Moscow’s airports some more today and last night. This is disrupting travel with crowds in line or sleeping on the floor. 

“Germany has formally joined a US-driven initiative to strengthen Ukraine's air defense network, pledging to help deliver five Patriot missile systems in coordination with Washington and other European allies. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced the move on Monday during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, held shortly after his discussions in Washington with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.”
