Bushwhackered

I decided to take Arlo to Vogrie for his afternoon walk, but last time the normal route was too overgrown with ferns, taller than me. So obviously I had to take some secateurs and see how far I'd get.. It pured down on our way to the ferns, but stopped just before and the sun came out. 

I think the path through the ferns was about 20m long and last time I had managed to get about 15m through before giving up, but it was all still overgrown. I totally lost track of time, but it took me an hour to get through it all and finally we could do our walk but we were a bit tired, Arlo was helping take the ferns away I'd cut. It's still hot though, cloudy skies and thunder threatening, although it never come to much.
