Sensibilities on the Bonnet
At the ARC/library there's a exhibition, Sensibilities on the Bonnet: an installation by Joshua Raffell. "A carefully and chaotically crocheted exhibition celebrating working women in Winchester. Engaging with and responding to local women’s stories and experiences, Raffell is stitching together a show of equal heart and wit to uncover the complexities of working life for women in the city." The blip is one of four creations.
It's a modern counterpoint to the other exhibition "Beyond the Bonnets: Working Women in Jane Austen’s Novels".
I'm quite a fan of modern art, but wasn't impressed with these.
