Narrow Escape

A strange day of warm sunny cloudy rainy weather that afforded brief opportunities for work in the garden.

Mrs I had to visit her father at his care home so I got to grips with trimming, strimming, pruning and sweeping.

I did get wet but I dont care. It was fresh and pleasant just being out.The lawn and the House Martins appreciated the cooler wetter conditions.

I had tidied up all the mess outside the gates and was just about to close the lid on the garden waste bin when I spotted this little chap, dripping and clinging on for dear life.

I managed a few quick pictures before putting him safely into a hedge where he could choose wether to sleep eat or play.

Not the best shot but I was too busy, tired, thirsty, hungry to mess about.

Then a short walk with Holllie before retiring indoors where we had a lovely chicken dinner and shandy drinks.

I fell asleep watching a programme on TV called Human.
